ENGLISH DON: Almost ready to leave....

Don hails from London England. He grew up in the time of 'Mods and Rockers' and identifies with the 'Greaser' bike clubs of the '60's and '70's. With over 35 years experience in the motorcycle world he has retained a great knowledge of the culture. He co-founded New York Citys 2 legendary chopper shops 'Psycho Cycles and SD Cycles along with the 'Bayonet Brothers' along with chop God , Indian Larry. Don is well known for his 'Digger Swing-arm' bikes, the most famous of these being 'Babylon Taxi' a 1981 4 speed Shovel-head. This and many of his wild creations have been widely used in TV, film and magazines. Don himself has appeared in numerous books, commercials, videos and documentaries. He is also an accomplished musician, lyricist and stage performer.

Affectionately known as the 'Slimy Limey', English Dons character is a larger than life example of reckless abandon...... He has been called crazy, wild and fearless, mostly for the way he attacks life......His razor sharp wit and comic rhetoric are ever present in his colourful writings on life and motorcycles......His radically designed street bikes have graced the covers and centrefolds of numerous National magazines. As a performing artist, musician, mechanic and author he lends his penchant for the abnormal to everything he does.

His true to life road stories and politically incorrect commentaries have garnered much critical acclaim. Viewing the world from the saddle of a motorcycle is refreshingly real and unapologetic. When writing prose for photo featured machines his mechanical knowledge allow him to describe in detail the intimate process and personal inflections the builder is trying to express.
